The Bog Oak is a semi-fossilized oak. Bog Oak can be found in various locations around the world, usually in swamps or moors in northern Ireland. It lies beneath the wet surface of peat soil and mineral-rich clay. It is found in the form of huge trunks in the process of petrification due to the lack of oxygen. Before being transformed into a pipe, it must be seasoned for a minimum of 2 years. This series is sold only in the best stores ( not online on this site).
